In January I put out a challenge to the Kreations Klub gals to make something using the new Swallowtail stamp. Each one did something different! I just love to see their creative minds at work! I have pics to share of what some of them did for this challenge:<br />
Here is Cindy's shadowbox ... very creative!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWZ2RiZot29AJBPVUjeKE6KK9tv_Z3RAiiLeA9teVSMEIMN5fObOupu8Zgj4L_Ysh_Ponui84KQ7NRU1uWDVTE9BgcKYN_1rd-_v_FGUG2RlLi7bkl-t09HheAgKLD5R7lEYG9aE3A0Z8/s1600/Cindy's.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="310" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWZ2RiZot29AJBPVUjeKE6KK9tv_Z3RAiiLeA9teVSMEIMN5fObOupu8Zgj4L_Ysh_Ponui84KQ7NRU1uWDVTE9BgcKYN_1rd-_v_FGUG2RlLi7bkl-t09HheAgKLD5R7lEYG9aE3A0Z8/s400/Cindy's.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
Debbie's card ... note the pearls on the end of the antenni<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

It's been a full day today:<br />
... designing and preping for Card Klub which is tomorrow. I always want the girls to have a great time, therefore I try to step out of the box for them, while keeping the cards simple enough to finish in our alloted time. Hopefully their creative juices will "kick in" afterwards and they will build on the cards they have made here;<br />
... cleaner was here to do her regular cleaning - and we took apart the kitchen and did some "spring cleaning"! I am no longer able to do this by myself - what a blessing she has been to me!<br />
<br />
I have 2 Klub cards to show you ....<br />
Here is another Tri-Fold card - the butterflies and the "for you" are embossed with the new Pool Party embossing powder. Love it!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEJWlKRNwghN1XeL79JvRsDjCPZFVper_qBgjtpDAsuTwtppb_OlWnuPGutce8-l0w6HdJFAZHm9yF28KLyZeWtQtk88iD4VJnphHQcK-nnzw1Ngk5Ip2GkEcz1qBScpEvOuRLbe-a7Go/s1600/Pool+Party+tri-fold.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="450" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEJWlKRNwghN1XeL79JvRsDjCPZFVper_qBgjtpDAsuTwtppb_OlWnuPGutce8-l0w6HdJFAZHm9yF28KLyZeWtQtk88iD4VJnphHQcK-nnzw1Ngk5Ip2GkEcz1qBScpEvOuRLbe-a7Go/s640/Pool+Party+tri-fold.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
This next card uses the sandable CS and the Secret Garden stamps... Just Because is stamped on one of the Secret Garden die cutouts ...<br />
The colors used for this card are all In colors. Don't you love them together?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

You may have been wondering where I have been and what I've been up to...<br />
<br />
I have written a book - a Devotional Study Book ...<br />
entitled <u><em>"Finding JOY in the midst ... planting your roots deep!"</em></u><br />
<em><u></u></em><br />
It is being printed as I write this! and my team of advisors / editors / supporters are planning a Book Launch for February 2, 2013. I have tried to upload a copy of the poster here but "blogger" is not allowing me to upload any pictures! I understand this is an issue with them at this moment in time. Hope they soon get it fixed! Anyway - if you go to facebook you may see the poster...<br />
<br />
Thank you for being patient with me!<br />
I will return - I have some "new stuff" from Stampin' Up! that I haven't even looked at yet! Hoping to do that today! And I will have some creations ... and hopefully I can upload the pics.<br />
<br />
Enjoy the snow - stay safe and warm!<br />
Blessings ...<br />

Here it is ... another year! May this one be a blessed year for you all! May it be filled with peace and love and joy!<br />
My New Years Resolution every year for the past 5 years or so has been to take a Scripture that God has given to me and make it mine! By that I mean to memorize it and live it out in my life! Sometimes that has been a painful process as He does the necessary work in this ole gal! I decided to make myself and 2 friends a little booklet to write quotes and scripture in - I found these file folder booklets at the local WM store - covered them with DSP from the new Print Poetry DSP available in the new Spring Catalogue as of January 2. I randomly stamped a small image on some of the pages...<br />

Just before Christmas I was able to make a card using lots of new "stuff" - here you will see more of the Print Poetry DSP, Secret Garden stamps and framelits... available in the Spring Catalogue. I had received the Trust God stamp set in December and this is the first chance I had to use it... Love this sentiment! :) Oh yes! Love that Woodgrain embossing folder!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1SvZS_Rnb8Q0pHHgvqIUUc2YKS-Yrqwpx-bw6obh2XujU1_lqvFxvEAVp_yFeOGTrlvhvbCQWY-XLBMaI3YLKQUHhHV_s9a8QBFFvUJYPZrhx7uVz5ut9lkKvO4LYuXbLw9xzv6KFNoM/s1600/secret+garden.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1SvZS_Rnb8Q0pHHgvqIUUc2YKS-Yrqwpx-bw6obh2XujU1_lqvFxvEAVp_yFeOGTrlvhvbCQWY-XLBMaI3YLKQUHhHV_s9a8QBFFvUJYPZrhx7uVz5ut9lkKvO4LYuXbLw9xzv6KFNoM/s640/secret+garden.JPG" width="532" /></a></div>
I also used the Framelits Labels Collection and did some paper piercing.<br />
Here is the flower close up ... shaded with ink and blender pen, and then "painted" with shimmer paint. (you don't see this very well in the picture)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Have a wonderful day! Hubby is "puttering" - actually we have a broken pipe so he is trying to fix that! Think I'll go "play" in the craft room!<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by...<br />
HUGS and blessings!<br />

Hey Stampers!<br />
I guess the countdown is on now, aye? One week from today is Christmas Eve... I still think we lost a week or so in December somehow / somewhere. Over the weekend we had the opportunity to attend two different Chritmas presentations - the music and the message were wonderful!<br />
Today I have the final cards I have made for Christmas - within a few days I will have a sneak peek for you of something from the new Spring catalogue (mini).<br />

I have a quick post for you today... a couple cards we made at Klub on Saturday. We had a Christmas potluck! Wow! We had enough food to feed an army, I think! Then we made these cards! <br />
Here is the first one using a new-to-me set ... we used Crumb Cake CS and DSP, Early Espresso ink - I may have to make a few more cards using this set! LOL!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJw4TXb2LmdCysyLETAHJ6JPl5E9CFoLnB43PnauqzuqrICJUC61EWKGEarmCv6ADWhAsMKH0pHDs-mhyGMoj-lJY6xCS6ChPThpklkUi6rG96QzDRVHXplRnsBr7aIbLQhjY8iVeyc_k/s1600/come+to+bethlehem.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="506" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJw4TXb2LmdCysyLETAHJ6JPl5E9CFoLnB43PnauqzuqrICJUC61EWKGEarmCv6ADWhAsMKH0pHDs-mhyGMoj-lJY6xCS6ChPThpklkUi6rG96QzDRVHXplRnsBr7aIbLQhjY8iVeyc_k/s640/come+to+bethlehem.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Here is card #2 - using the Apothecary Art stamp set and the dies to match.... I know this isn't your typical Christmas set but thought I'd give it a try - and it works for me! LOL!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyQcRXIpDBoBwqevbmUEQQmY6Zyna014M9j1N8_Af8Q8VKlak42Qs_5BoCHW3Bl8WirQdjNS78vezMOizezimlwDf_hh_UHs7eVOw-z8dJnpwdPgIXT30odyETR6GOkIFT8nO7oHKI-xE/s1600/apothecary+art.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="540" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyQcRXIpDBoBwqevbmUEQQmY6Zyna014M9j1N8_Af8Q8VKlak42Qs_5BoCHW3Bl8WirQdjNS78vezMOizezimlwDf_hh_UHs7eVOw-z8dJnpwdPgIXT30odyETR6GOkIFT8nO7oHKI-xE/s640/apothecary+art.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
I have one more posting of Christmas cards which will come in the next couple of days... after that, the Christmas sets are put away for another year. On to other "stuff"! <br />
Have a great day and remember to keep SIMPLICITY a key element in your Christmas!<br />
<br />
Merry CHRISTmas everyone!<br />

I've been busy making Christmas cards... had a friend stop by yesterday afternoon after she finished work and we spent a couple hours making cards! Such fun ! Here are a few of them! <br />
<br />
These first 2 are made with that "old stand-by" set ... Lovely As A Tree. I have cased this one but don't remember from whom! The differnece in the 2 cards is the DSP placement and the ribbon adn crochet trim.<br />
<br />

<br />
This next one is not a Stampin' Up! stamp ... I have had this little guy for a few years - isn't he the cutest thing you ever saw? I realize these are not the traditional Christmas colors but they are 2 of my fav together! Hope you enjoy!<br />

Here are the cards we made at our November Klub get-together...<br />
This first one is pretty simple ... I had started out making an all-white card, but then decided to use some of the flocked Christmas paper so had to make it "red and white" - love the simplicity of it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigGRRD-l5pb8cTQlez5qAE-OldYgEy4-E4Hk1pGOEkB5rrBx4vWonzWudP0-gyJXsH5vdqT_4KEy5UvJCHdCbgYX0h6RVFX7voMq8cLIyEXUl6mZqsrHZ5yEGizRSrlgLvNMcVKKTLLEw/s1600/November+KLUB.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="528" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigGRRD-l5pb8cTQlez5qAE-OldYgEy4-E4Hk1pGOEkB5rrBx4vWonzWudP0-gyJXsH5vdqT_4KEy5UvJCHdCbgYX0h6RVFX7voMq8cLIyEXUl6mZqsrHZ5yEGizRSrlgLvNMcVKKTLLEw/s640/November+KLUB.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
This card uses the snowflake die - two shades of blue - a lighter one behind the darker to create a shadow effect ...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDQ3uz0YuUNyP373BZFRWm8UII-ZVWsx-jfWAf8RaH2Pg-VdKC8YINuRY7ew4neB9A7B35Jo31fe5xrDRC5mZs5xfxpIktjvLc9EaFpFUgXpF6GavfUjktLT_mFFFA2Shm8RB3YCnmCWk/s1600/November+KLUB+(12).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDQ3uz0YuUNyP373BZFRWm8UII-ZVWsx-jfWAf8RaH2Pg-VdKC8YINuRY7ew4neB9A7B35Jo31fe5xrDRC5mZs5xfxpIktjvLc9EaFpFUgXpF6GavfUjktLT_mFFFA2Shm8RB3YCnmCWk/s640/November+KLUB+(12).JPG" width="532" /></a></div>
Here is the inside using the two little snowflakes from the die...<br />

I have been creating Christmas cards for the past 2 hours ... came out of my craft room to post these for you - and after about 1/2 hour I heard a loud crash. Back to the craft room to find that the wheel had come off one of my rolling carts and it has toppled over ... what a mess I now have to go in and clean up! Oh well! I'm considering it all JOY! :)<br />
<br />
Have a great weekend! <br />

Good Afternoon!<br />
I have been very neglectful of this blog and my stamping - Card Klub met here last Saturday and I took some pics which I'll post over the next couple days!<br />
In the mean time I have been finishing up my FIRST EVER RUG HOOKED piece! What a fun thing to do...something I have always wanted to try my hand at. TA DA! Here she is - the "Golden Bird"! There were only 2 students in the class which made it great for personal time with the teacher. Each one of us hooked the same pattern but in our own color schemes. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgawCSLHadxBV0zs-AxKiFZFxlW95vyWkWu9eC0HeZK21QhOccOs1Mh_WiuYgnw6Ax5Q-PkZw5IkeGEDC8O8x45ENvKRPjAgfKCviMWAkiNqyr0sMAmD_DIbZ_RiKyXr3iD3zfEiTosG3A/s1600/The+Golden+Bird.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgawCSLHadxBV0zs-AxKiFZFxlW95vyWkWu9eC0HeZK21QhOccOs1Mh_WiuYgnw6Ax5Q-PkZw5IkeGEDC8O8x45ENvKRPjAgfKCviMWAkiNqyr0sMAmD_DIbZ_RiKyXr3iD3zfEiTosG3A/s640/The+Golden+Bird.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I will use this as a table runner in the Kitchen or on the small table in the Sunroom...Of course, I did my own thing! For example the small flowers on the ground, and the yellow on the tips of the buds; and my initial. <br />
<br />
Yesterday I started my second piece - designed by me. It is a "doodle" of my own which I will adapt to an 18" x 15" piece. This is being hooked on linen while the Golden Bird was hooked on burlap. <br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by!<br />
Have a blessed day... Remember to keep CHRIST in CHRISTmas!<br />

At least that is what it is doing here in this little part of Nova Scotia! Sure isn't "snowman weather". However, I love snowmen and I have 2 more Frosty Friends cards for you today. I sponged the snowflake die cutouts and then added glitter. Aren't they pretty?<br />

Whoa! Temperatures of 12 - 17 degrees C. However, it is time to get a-going on the Christmas cards. Here is one I made using the stamp called Frosty Friends - aren't they cute? As you can see I used a piece of the sandable CS and some DSP - I really like the brown, red, and green together.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoA0qkTAxRK-cvGjbfTEwFQ88OMY207MoLP4jKs56NFNhX50dOP7w8EvjauFZas-e1Z5hVbnaxjo6jsr24MD2AfyywRaHYeStts85uZSMjA4lgL-wJbckRGpd1eISHZHALmFKKWYIGmBU/s1600/snowmen.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="510" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoA0qkTAxRK-cvGjbfTEwFQ88OMY207MoLP4jKs56NFNhX50dOP7w8EvjauFZas-e1Z5hVbnaxjo6jsr24MD2AfyywRaHYeStts85uZSMjA4lgL-wJbckRGpd1eISHZHALmFKKWYIGmBU/s640/snowmen.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
Here is the inside... using the single "Merry Christmas" stamp...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfwu2tPrS09kUVTrd4psYJUJmj3VEP46CQCh8jTyTpY0Rbowjd0kAjgbZeT6NwluENC5yozkbVVoVcCgWJ454d0YFREyFr7Vv3DiodF23uovY68tbmh24JGtiQCm5BiTnDFlOVk3z7IbE/s1600/single+stamp+Christmas.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="408" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfwu2tPrS09kUVTrd4psYJUJmj3VEP46CQCh8jTyTpY0Rbowjd0kAjgbZeT6NwluENC5yozkbVVoVcCgWJ454d0YFREyFr7Vv3DiodF23uovY68tbmh24JGtiQCm5BiTnDFlOVk3z7IbE/s640/single+stamp+Christmas.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And then I spent some time coloring - using markers and blender pens ... now to go make the cards!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I am back after having had a good break. I have been enrolled in a rug hooking class - and loving it! I will show you my first project once it is completed. For now, here are two cards I made using this most versatile set of all time - "Lovely As A Tree".<br />
<br />
Card #1: I used the oak leaf as the primary focus; stamped it and embossed it with clear embossing power - which really doesn't show in the picture; and attempted to make the card sort of shabby in appearance.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWX4CgjfTlBgv1prybK_c9dudqNMKcOB4auKRSMFgDESp5tlFWzO3MYQll-TETkJHG2Mgie940QrL3h-FldHWc_Dpb3K-OG2Bipyp162E6O4ZaTieryLrjwbJs7PUCzvLdRSsSEAbYosI/s1600/lovely+as+a+tree.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWX4CgjfTlBgv1prybK_c9dudqNMKcOB4auKRSMFgDESp5tlFWzO3MYQll-TETkJHG2Mgie940QrL3h-FldHWc_Dpb3K-OG2Bipyp162E6O4ZaTieryLrjwbJs7PUCzvLdRSsSEAbYosI/s640/lovely+as+a+tree.JPG" width="502" /></a></div>
<br />
Card #2: using River Rock and Old Olive ink I used two different stamps from the set; added some glitter, DSP, and ribbon for a very simple Christmas card.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkFmC3je3zRkYVZHLDmzxOpPoNf9pyiHCDdDm075lbDS2d8ZjzAVIQsvycgmNHzExs518WbJqcLB9w0I9WkTxh2LGDy9XhiIfx2Y6uAGFcF78Tg_UDm9KnBVjAEk59jybF4GwyM5vMu9I/s1600/Lovely+Tree+Christmas.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="468" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkFmC3je3zRkYVZHLDmzxOpPoNf9pyiHCDdDm075lbDS2d8ZjzAVIQsvycgmNHzExs518WbJqcLB9w0I9WkTxh2LGDy9XhiIfx2Y6uAGFcF78Tg_UDm9KnBVjAEk59jybF4GwyM5vMu9I/s640/Lovely+Tree+Christmas.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Card #2 inside...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEFRSZU4KPw_r9ampDfmkKxFS8WDxY7eJkUY3XSUFgMfxEmY_ptXKEJkJyVq2sFrnhK5fq2joTUBMGr4asACEM_jBysYyra6F3W2nc0tPTivY5OpGhdS5ov7SPIaOl_6xc6mMV6Z3Y_iY/s1600/Lovely+tree+inside.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="448" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEFRSZU4KPw_r9ampDfmkKxFS8WDxY7eJkUY3XSUFgMfxEmY_ptXKEJkJyVq2sFrnhK5fq2joTUBMGr4asACEM_jBysYyra6F3W2nc0tPTivY5OpGhdS5ov7SPIaOl_6xc6mMV6Z3Y_iY/s640/Lovely+tree+inside.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>

Good Morning...<br />
Just a quick post this morning as I have a busy day lined up! I made this card the other eveniing after my order from Stampin' Up! came in... I had just received the woodgrain folder and the Sandable CS in Early Espresso... so - for sure - I had to make a card with them! LOL! I know you know what I'm talking about!<br />
I cut some leaves using the Big Shot die - spritzed them with water, crinbkled them up ... let them dry and then sponged them with ink; adhered them together with an antique brad and popped them on the woodgrain embossed CS.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hope you are lovin` this beautiful Fall Day!<br />
I arrived home yesterday after a full day in town... and found 4 boxes from Stampin' Up! on my doorstep. I should have taken a picture! Took me a while to get it all sorted and bagged up ... Lots of gals out there will be enjoying "new stuff" this weekend! <br />
Here is the Christmas card I made the other day! The card is an adaptation of a couple different cards I had seen on Pinterest - do you go there? Whoa! What a place!<br />
The tree is made from half a circle and it is all in the folding! So easy to do once you know how to make the folds. Of course, glitter and bling had to be added to make this card shine!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyZN2fa_DRDCq9W3s0NRenZ0p8yzl8U8zALoJg_3iBzBNVujaa29SH21svQHhBV4ncF5WrJWOJraEHe-G9CWPqMjgYPMtF9W2ox1BwpMIiY6WamEtraz4ekQYiI2czyEVipb8btV9Jbz8/s1600/Christmas+tree.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="476" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyZN2fa_DRDCq9W3s0NRenZ0p8yzl8U8zALoJg_3iBzBNVujaa29SH21svQHhBV4ncF5WrJWOJraEHe-G9CWPqMjgYPMtF9W2ox1BwpMIiY6WamEtraz4ekQYiI2czyEVipb8btV9Jbz8/s640/Christmas+tree.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />

TGIF!!!<br />
Do you remember the days of the TWIST? I used to love to do this dance.... couldn't do it today though! I have a Twisted Card for you today! We will be doing this one at our Card Klub tomorrow!<br />
<br />
If you read yesterdays post you will recall that I had a Workshop last night ... and was "worried" that I might forget something! WELL! What are the chances? I did! The ribbon for the card - of all things ... guess I forgot to cut it and put it in the packages! DAH! Even funnier than that I assumed that being in a workplace environment the hostess - nor anyone else - would have what I needed! <br />
<br />
WELL! THEY DID!!! <br />
Go figure! One of the gals had the ribbon in her desk .... ummmmmm??? :) Interesting! These girls have regular card-making times together! Gotta love that!<br />
<br />
Enough talking - I just thought you'd get a chuckle out of that! Here's the card...<br />
<br />
<strong>Closed </strong>- (there is a pocket here on the front but I have adhered the CS together- you could leave it open if you chose to do so)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This will be a quick post as I have a Stampin' Up! Workshop tonight and I must go pack my stuff! I am always so afraid I am going to leave something home! Most of the time - if I did so - the hostess would probably have it in her craft room. However, tonight I am going to a workplace where I need to bring it all! Here's hoping! :)<br />
<br />
Here are 2 different cards I made over the past week... Enjoy!<br />
A wedding card for a wonderful couple! The bride was one of the most beautiful brides I have ever seen!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I sanded the CS for this thank you card ... the CS is in the Holiday Catalogue... <br />

It is a beautiful sunny day here.... hope you are all enjoying sunshine somewhere ... if not outside then for sure in your hearts! :)<br />
I have a shabby card today using the Papaya Collage stamp set - I had so much fun making this card. There is no rhyme nor reason to it! Hope you enjoy it this morning!<br />
<br />
Life truly is a matter of moments and it can be taken from us in an instant - I spoke yesterday with a gal whose F-I-L had died in a freak accident last week ... her words were "Our lives changed forever in a second." God be with them. And may we treasure each and every moment we have! <br />

Whoa! It has been a looooong time since I have been here!<br />
Life just got tooo crazy for me to keep up with it all ... I did a lot of paper crafting over the past 2 weeks - a friend and I made 100 + of the following: book marks using the Two Tags die and scallop circle punch; little "purses" to hold 2 candy kisses using the Two Tags die; name tags using the large Maple Leaf from the Big Autumn Accents die; decorated the fronts of colorful bags with the largest Apothecary Accent Framelit (stamped with Scripture and Swirls) - PHEW!!!! I wore myself out just typing that! LOL!<br />
<br />
Our church hosted the Beth Moore Simulcast this past Saturday ... we had about 100 people present - next year we are trusting for at least double that. The amazing thing was that there were 150,000 women attending that Simulcast worldwide! 50 States; 9 Provinces; 3 military bases; 2 women's prisons; AND - countries across the world! How awesome is that!!!! If you have never attended such a thing I urge you to do so as one of the most refreshing events in your Spiritual Journey.<br />
<br />
So ... I wish I had taken some pictures as we progressed thru all that! However, I did take a couple pics of 2 cards I made when another friend visited one afternoon - just to play! She had purchased some dies and wanted to use them ... I LOVE dragonflies ... she gave me the little dragonfly die! Isn't he sweet??? Love, love, love it! here are the cards!<br />
I used Tangerine Tango and Gumball Green ... don't you love that combo??? The pic does not do the card justice! The green is the Core'dinations CS from the Holiday catalogue - this is sandable CS.<br />
Also used the Delicate Designs Folder ... another new favorite!<br />
