Merry Christmas

Good Afternoon!
Hope everyone is having a good day after the weekend!
I am doing laundry, dishes, cleaned a cupboard out, cleaned my craft room... and finally made the card fronts (11 of them) I needed to make for a Stampin'Up! Demonstrators Christmas Card swap I entered ... gotta run and get them in the mail.

Here is my card front... I will receive 10 others from other demos in Canada... it is exciting to see what other demos are doing! Hope they like my card front! :)

Itsy-Bitsy Spider.....

Good Morning!
And a nice morning it is!

As I always do in the morning.... I came downstairs to the kitchen - which always seems to explode overnight - made a pot of coffee, began to clean up, start the dishwasher, clean the sink etc, etc. I looked out the kitchen window and saw a magnificent spider's web .... from the railing of the deck to the clothes line. I don't know what it is but I have a fascination with spider webs.

Spiders - don't like 'em! Webs - love 'em. They are such wonderful works of art .... made by a creepy little creature... a creature created by our magnificent God! This guy must have worked all night at this one!

Needless to say - I don't have a card to show you - just a few pics!

Paisley Prints

Hey everyone!
Looks like rain out there right now!
Hope there will be some thunder! I Love the sound of thunder!!! :)

Here is a card I made this afternoon using the new set Paisley Prints ... I love this set as it has Fall stamps, a Christmas Tree stamp, Heart stamps.... very versatile!
I was thinking about making some fall cards and here is my first one... I popped everything and used lots of colors!

Labor of Love... on Labor day!

A Labor of Love....

Cards for the Troops...

A few years ago a stamping buddy of mine (way to go, Cindy!!!) asked some of us to help her make cards to send to the troops - so they would have handmade cards... made with love and prayer - to send home to their families. We have been doing this for quite a while now.

It is now time to make Christmas Cards for them ...

Cindy has asked for 600 by the end of September.

If you are in the local area and are reading this - and do some stamping - feel free to join us ...

all cards may be dropped off at the Yarmouth Wesleyan Church.

I have been working on my stash.... made almost entirely with Stampin' Up! product {new and old} - although I have used the occasional stamp from elsewhere.

Please remember to pray for the guys and gals overseas - and for their families.

Anything But a Card ....

NO - I haven't gone crazy and started creating boxes or such!
We have a new addition to our family - another 4-legged "person" has come into our life....
Kev arrived home from the Valley late yesterday with another Border Collie Puppy... along with his chickens!
Teddie is not sure what to make of this guy! Knowing him (Teddie) he will soon put him in his place! LOL!

We are temporarily calling him FRECKLES - unitl we get Madison's approval! :)

Isn't he a cutie???
