CLUB 10 July

The other night was the last Club meeting for the season - one of the gals had us in for supper - quiche, salads, triffle, and blueberry tort - and then we went to this months hostess' home and swam in the pool after the card making session! A fun-filled evening for sure! Thank you Debra and Anna for all of it!

Here are the 2 cards we made at Club the other night - I forgot my camera so don`t have pics of the girls renditions of these cards!   :(
I used sponges to shade in the sky and ground on this one... (I seem to have more luck with sponges than I do with the brayer.)

Of course - one of them HAD to be a Christmas card! Gotta love this ribbon!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day - we`re off to the beach soon. Lots of fun!

Here are a couple attempts at the Bargello technique....

Working on the spot light card - and a completed "Scallop" card.

Thanks for peeking in today! Have a good one!

Club Cards - May

Good morning!
Here are the cards we made at Club last night - I apologize for this photo ... see the little piece of paper lying on the card ... I didn't even see it til just now... I had some packages of DSP to give away and this must have been one of the names I drew last night ... don't have time to retake so "what you see is what you get". This is a Spring Card ... lays flat for mailing and then "springs" into life

We also made two "manly " cards!
This is the first one:
Here is Debbie's take on it - notice her bow...
And here is Jane's take on it - notice her ribbon...
I always love to see how the girls put their own "spin" on the cards ... whether with bows and knots or embellies, or layout or ....

Here is the second "manly" card -

Thanks for peeking today!
Have a wonderful day!
May it be filled with Blessings galore!

Happy Moments!

Good Friday Morning!
I've had a busy week so far ... hoping today is just a lazy one!
Here is a card I made a while back using a SAB set - "happy moments" ...

Next I have some pics from our last Club Night! Enjoy your peek!
In this one everyone is very intent on what they are doing....  we have lots of fun and lots of laughs too!

Here are a couple different takes on the card designed by Mary Fish at "Stampin' Pretty"

This last one was done using the "misting" technique.... such a simple technique - giving a softer image
Thanks for stoppping by! Have a great weekend! Blessings on you all!

Club 10 - February

Hi Stampers!
Here it is Frifday! Whoa! Time is just passing by too fast for me!
We had our Club on Tuesday evening and had a new stamper join us! Isn't he just the cutest? He looks sort of like "what am I doing here?" This is my Teddie!

In the next 2 pics you will see the girls hard at work! In amongst all the laughter and fun!

Here are the 2 cards we made:
The "Friends" card was made using the "fossil"stone" technique - we made our own designer paper using this technique - it is too cool! The leaves for the flowers are from the Bird Punch and the 2 larger leaves are the bird wing! :) The set used was 'Vintage Vogue' - one of my newest favs!

The "Trendy Trees" card was made with DP from Sweet Peas. We used the stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the tree tops and tree trunks. This was a  fun little card.

Have a great weekend - Keep the Sonshine in your heart!

Good Morning!
Here are the cards we made the other night at Club... such fun to get a group of women together and do one of the things we love to do - stamp!!!!!
This is a Fall Card using the Blessings Wheel....
I showed them how to do the Faux Lantern technique ... I think this is so elegant and will use it again, I'm sure!
Hope you enjoyed your peek today!
I received a Stampin' Up! Order yesterday ... lots of new Designer Paper - can't wait to get my hands into it!!!
Take care! *** HUGS ***

Another Club Card

Good morning everyone -
Just a quick post this morning ...

Here is the other card we made at Club the other night - the ribbon is organza that has been heated to make it crinkle!
One of the gals (Cindy) did her own twist on this card - she reversed the DSP and used the little pieces of left over ribbon - great job, Cindy!

I hope to get some creating done today but I don't know if I'll squeeze it in or not! I am meeting with a gal this afternoon, and we are opening the Farmer's Market from 4 - 7 on Thursdays now ... so ... only time will tell!
Have a great day!

Club Night

Hi everyone!
Our first Club Night was Tuesday night... 11 crafters in attendance. We had a blast! Hostessess have been picked for the coming year! Everyone is excited about that! Every night of club I will demo a new technique and they will make a technique 6 X 6 page to keep; as well as a project using the technique. They will also do another Make and Take!

Here is a close up of the faux alligator technique...

Here is the sample card using the Faux Alligator technique... this is a fun one to do!

Have a wonderful day! I'm kinda hoping for a little cooler weather - what about you? But still some sunshine!!! :0) Whatever we get - It is HIS day and I will rejoice in it!
