Scallop Easel...

Hi Stampers!
OoooHhhhhh! I see sunshine! That means another beauty of a day!
Here is a card I made last week and forgot to post earlier this week!
It is an easel card using the scallop die for the Big Shot (or CB) ... and I used the In Colors for this card. The butterfly and the sentiment stamp are both retired! (Just like me!) :)

Here it is closed -
And here it is open -
Have a wonderful day today! Stay healthy and happy!

TWISTED EASEL

HEY!
What an awesome day this has been... so sunny and warm! Hard to believe there is a storm headed our way! I have made more pickles :) - "Bread and Butter" this time; and have spent some time preparing for Christmas Club which happens tomorrow.
In the mean time - I also had some MOJO hit me ... I made a Twisted Easel Card for tomorrows class ... in additon to what I had already planned! And then made a second one! SOOOOOO easy - love this card fold.

1. Cut a piece of CS at 4&1/4 X 9&3/4 inch
2. Score at 5&1/2 inches.
3. Take the 5&1/2 section and fold / score on the diagnoal.... this is what gives the twisted easel effect! :)

Here are my pics... I apologize for the shadows ... it is very sunny in my sunroom right now - Guess I need to find another place to take pics!

Now for the second card - I made this one for a friend who is going thru tough time right now. In addition to the above mentioned cuts and scores, I cut a piece of CS 4&1/4 X 5&1/2 and attached it to the diagonal folded section. When closed this card looks like any other card of this size...

Thanks for stopping by - I appreciate each and every one of you!

4 X 4 Easel Card

Happy Wednesday!
What a beautiful day!
Another one!
We are truly blessed!

We held Club 10 last night... and had a great time - as always!
Here is one of the cards we made ... a 4 X 4 Easel Card.

This is the open view -

And here is the closed view - How to make this card...
- Cut CS 4 X 8 for the base
- Score this piece at 2 and 4 inches - vertically; both are valley folds.
- Cover the "inside" with DSP
- Position a brad or button on this piece as a "stop" point.
- Cut the card front at 4 X 4
- Embellish as you wish
- Attach bottom of card front to the 2" portion of the bottom flap
- To display, card front will stand as an easel by placing it behind the brad/button.

To make this card a 6 X 6 - cut CS base at 6 X 12 inches and score at 3" and 6"; Card front would be cut at 6 X 6.

Enjoy the day!
Thanks for peeking in!
