Christmas Medallions...

Hey! Hope you all had a great weekend!
MY - the time is flying by ... won't be long now and the kids will be back in school.
On that note ... I have been making Christams Cards in preparation for some Christmas Card Making Events I'm planning - so I have two Christmas Cards to show you today. I made both of these using the Medallion Stamp; turned it into a Christmas wreath ...

Thanks for stopping by this morning.
Have a great day -
I am going to get some cukes ready for pickling tomorrow - I LOVE to make pickles!
Blessings and HUGS!

Christmas Medallion

HI...
Hope you stayed dry last night! We did but I've heard some news today that some people didn't.... I hope the insurance companies are up to paying out for damage caused by the terrible wind and rain we received!

I had a brainwave this afternoon - I remember seeing a Christmas card somewhere using the Medallion stamp - so I came up with my own version. I love this! So simple!
  • stamp the medallion
  • stamp the bells and bow with Versa mark
  • emboss bells and bow with Gold embossing powder
  • cut circle from gold CS
  • using popdots raise Embossed image on CS
  • adhere to medallion center
and there you have it .... a simple Christmas Card....

Here is another one - using Pacific Point ----
Oh my! My head is spinning at the possibilities of colors one could use!!!!
Happy Stampin' !
See you next week!

A Medallion For You!

Hi Everyone!
Happy Labour Day to everyone!
We are even closing our shop today! WhooHooo!

Hasn't the weather been glorious? I feel bad for the teachers and students who have had to return to school after all the miserable weather to only have the nice stuff now! I remember that happening to me a few times throughout my teaching career!

I received two Stampin'Up! parcels the other day- one of them had the new Stampin'Up! Medallion stamp in it ... I thought I'd give it a try last night - here are the results of that! I used Old Olive for the background CS and Cottage Wall DP; Rich Razzleberry ink. I also used a few dew drops - in keeping with the new policies from Stampin' Up! I am unable to tell you where I purchased these.

I really like this stamp and see lots of great possibilities with it! I am going to try an embossed image sometime today - hopefully will have that to show you tomorrow!

Have a great day! Enjoy the sun!
Blessings on you all!
