MOJO 85

Hi All!
Here is a late post for Monday - about 9:30 PM - it is my take on the Mojo Monday sketch challenge... I enjoy this particular weekly challenge, however I don't often get it completed on Monday!!! :) As you can see I turned the image to the "landscape" format rather than the "portrait" format! This is my first inking of the Fifth Avenue Flower - did some coloring on it using markers and a blender pen.
I finished getting most of the "stuff" ready for the Spring Fling on Saturday! - with the help of a friend! Glad to get that out of the way on Monday --- now I can "breathe" for the rest of the week!
Have a great Tuesday!!!
Peace & Joy to you all!

Spring has Sprung!

Hi Peekers!
I made a simple spring card last night with a couple of the smaller images I colored the evening before... did some Paper Piercing and used a couple brads.... very clean and simple!

I hope to get some stamping done today - and get the final stuff ready for the Stampin' Up! Demos Spring Fling at Maple Grove this coming Saturday..... have CS to cut, Make and Take pkgs to put together! for those of you in the area - this is from 9:30 - 1:30; admission is $2.00; lots of make and takes; etc. Come have some fun! Hope to see you there!

Have a great day!
Peace and joy to you all!

"coloring"

Hi All!
Just a quick post before I head out for Sunday School! We went to a play last night - it was hilarious - especially when you know some of the people who are acting in it! When we got home I had the "itch" to do some coloring.... just like a kid with a coloring book! So I stamped off a few images and we watched Dateline on TV --- hubby fell asleep and I colored! Can anyone relate?

Here's a pic of what I did!
Have a wonderful sunday --- see you all tomorrow!
Blessings;

Cherry Tree

Hi Gang!

Here is my second post for this MAY DAY! It's quite a dismal day actually... I washed windows, put up new curtains, and rearranged furniture in the living room this morning. As I did this I prayed for loved ones going through some difficult times, and for others in the midst of joyous times! While doing all of that, I pictured the beautiful Japanese Cherry Trees that bloom in the Spring... they are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO beautiful! And the ground is just as beautiful when their blooms fall. I wondered if I could replicate their beauty in a card ...
Here is my attempt to do that! I followed the sketch from "Stamps and Smiles"; used the stamp set "Branch Out" from S. Up!; DSP Bella Rose; Soft Subtles Brads; ribbon and dimensionals!

Enjoy!

Have a great day!

Blessings! - Ruthie

First Daffy!

Good Morning everyone!
Well, it stayed cold yesterday didn't it? I had an very busy day and did not get to any stampin'... so I don't have anything to show you today. Any card that is! I am the proud owner of a new camera - have been trying it out a little ... so much to learn!
Here is a pic of the first daffy in my garden to open up!

And here is Buster last night after a hard day... yawning - and - sleeping!

This is when I like him the best! Have a wonderful day - I'll be back with a card or two on Saturday!

Blessings - Ruthie
