Easter Chick!

Hi All!
It's so nice to see the sun! But ohhhhhh - does it ever show up the dirty windows!!!! Gotta do something about that! However, NOT TODAY!!!! I have a workshop tomorrow that I need to do final prep for today; and have clients all afternoon! I wanted to post something before I started all of that so here is an Easter card I made using "A Good Egg" stamp set from Stampin' Up! I will use this set for more than Easter - as we have hens and chicks and eggs on the farm and I am already thinking about how I can adapt it to "farming" as we know it!

Here's the card...

I paper pieced the eggs and tucked the little chick in behind them, popping one of the eggs on dimensionals. Isn't he cute - peeking out there? Almost like he's saying, "Oh, oh! what is this place?" I have a crazy imagination sometimes!

Have a wonderful day! Be glad in it & keep smiling!

Blessings! Ruthie

A Simple Easter Card

Good Monday Morning!
I arrived home Sunday around 5 p.m. from my daughter's .... had a great time being a full-time Grammie! Crazy weather though! Had snow on Friday after I arrived there... Gorgeous day on Saturday - we were actually out for moments at a time in our shirt sleeves! Awoke to a major snow storm Sunday morning! Go figure! The drive home wasn't bad at all as it had turned to rain and the roads were clear; the sun came out in Bridgetown!

Just a quick post to show you an Easter card I made using the Simple Flower Embosslit die and the Little Leaves Sizzlit die ... will have more for you on Tuesday! And - I'll tell you about a really cool place I found that sells stampin' stuff!!!!

Have a great day!
Blessings!

An Easter Card!

Hey!
So glad to be here! Finally! I was having withdrawals this morning! Our Internet has been "down" since Sunday sometime! I hope the problem has been fixed!
I haven't done a lot of card making this past week as it seems I haven't been home much! Yesterday a gal visited who hasn't done much stamping and we made a bunch of cards ... this being one of them! I used the new Stampin' Up! Eyelet Border Punch (which I love!) - and was going to do the complete edge of the card, when I realized the nice effect it was to leave the straight edge in place... this is the result! I placed some DSP inside the card so that when it is closed the eyelet area really stands out. The stamp set is from Our Daily Bread Designs.
Enjoy! And have a great "rest of the day" -

Ruthie
