HEY!
I have a quick post this morning...
I took a piece of Satin Ribbon (Pretty in Pink) and stamped Merry Christmas on it in Real Red.... another thing to do with ribbon! :) I then fashioned a Chirstams Card using these two colors.... not my typical color combo - I'm stepping "outside the box" with this one!
What do you think? Does it work? I like that we can stamp on the satin ribbon to personalize it to whatever card we are making!
Thanks for stopping by - have a great day!

Getting Sidetracked!
Good afternoon!
Do any of you out there get as easily sidetracked as I do? Lately it seems that I can start one thing and am soon far away from that and on to something else....at the end of the day I wonder why I didn't accomplish what I set out to do....
Such has been this morning -
I really like the white organza ribbon from Stampin'Up. Here I have shown a white piece and then 2 others which I have "colored" using a sponge and ink... one is Real Red the other is Perfect Plum! You never need worry about having the correct color ribbon as long as you have organza and ink! Gotta love that!

Such has been this morning -
I am preparing for Kreations Kulb tomorrow night... I got thinking about all the neat things one can do with ribbon so started making some samples to show the girls -
Here are 2 such samples... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
well - maybe I won't show them to you! I don't know why I'm having such trouble getting to my stampin' pictures! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here we go again!
I call this one "crinkled ribbon" - lay a piece of sticky strip on your CS and take the ribbon and stick down and crinkle, stick down and crinkle.... unitl you have what you desire. I love this look!

Finally, here is a stamped image from an old Stampin'Up set - I don't remember the name - I sure would love to get my hands on this set. I didn't purchase it when it was available - now I wish I had ... it would have been a keeper for me! Does anyone remember the name of this set?
I hope you're having a good day and don't blow away! Wow! It sure is windy here today!
See you soon!
Thanks for peeking in!
Blessings!

HEY!
Good morning... Well -
It is morning as I begin to post this but it may be afternoon before I am finished....
I have not been very faithful here this past week ... Hope I'm forgiven! I have been busy with "stuff", made a day trip to the Valley - you know we had to be there when the new Michael's store opened! .... bought some great beads; a MS punch; visited a Santa's Discount Store and purchased Christmas napkins and bags... [You know Christmas is only about 73 days away!!!!]
And had lots of laughs with the girls! In amongst all that I've not felt 100% .... but "the beat goes on."
Have a great day! May the Son be shining in your heart today!
Blessings...

I plan on getting my craft table cleaned off this afternoon - I have a club to prepare for so I better get in the groove again!
Here is another Christmas swap - last but not least!
ummmmm .... having a little trouble getting to the card... what's up? Someone commented the other day that they were having the same issue .... blogger has made changes ... why do people think they have to keep changing something? "If it ain't broke don't fix it"!!!
Sorry for the rant! :)

Still More Swaps...
Good Morning....
Thanksgiving (in Canada) is just around the corner ... how did that happen? So for hubby - his mind is totally consumed with getting the turkeys slaughtered (I hate that word - wish there was a nicer way to say it) - but - it is what it is ...
Here's a cartoon that makes me chuckle everytime I see it!!
Here are 2 more Swaps I received from S. Up! demos in Canada - This one is the work of Laura Wilson in Manitoba...
and this one is by Leena Girsa at http://alacards.blogspot.com/ (you might want to check her blog for some inspiration)...
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great week --- and keep happy thoughts in your heart!
Blessings!
