Make & Take Redos!

Hi everyone!!
I hope all the moms had a great Mother's Day! My girl and her family have been away and arrived home late last night... she called me as soon as they got in! I hope to see them real soon!!!

Here is a BEFORE pic of the Make and Takes I prepared for the Spring Fling!

On my way to bed last night I was "pulled into" my craft room [funny how that happens! ] :) .... so I did a redo of the 2 Make and Takes ... I didn't sell all of the packets I had prepared so I will use them to make all occasion cards for people ... my Secret Sister, friends, etc... maybe even sell some, and use some in a workshop! The week coming up is a fairly "easy" week so I should be able to do a couple challenges! Hope so!

"Spring Fling" Pics!

Hi everyone!

First I just have to show you these beautiful little tulips that were open to the sun this morning as I was leaving the house! Aren't they gorgeous?

Here it is 3:pm and it's cold and drizzly and they have closed right up! Can't say that I blame them! :)
Well! The "FLING" is over.... except for me unpacking and all that stuff! I've been procrastinating since I got home ... guess I needed a break! It was lots of fun! Had some young gals there - I must say, they were very creative! It always thrills me to see young people tapping into their creativity!

I'm posting a few pics ... will be back with a card tomorrow!

Fifth Avenue!

Hi all!

Here is today's post ... finally aye?

I used the Fifth Avenue stamp set to stamp the background on W. White CS ... I love these outline flowers - you can use them as background; cut them out and pop them (as I did here). I added some leaves from the S. Up! die cut... colored the flower with Tangerine Tango using a blender pen and the ink pad. I think this card is simple but quite appealing to the eye!

I will take some pics. at our EXPO on Saturday and post them later in the day!

Good Morning!

I don't have a card to share with you today! I've been trying to catch up on everything that has "slipped" a bit this past week - have not stamped since Monday PM... I also have a new camera so am trying to learn all about it... and am enjoying it immensely! I just had to show you this pic... I took this through the living room window and screen ... and it came out pretty good although hazy b/c of the glass and screen.

This is an "immature male red-winged blackbird" - one of last years babies - and hes' back! That's a good thing! Can you see the yellow and red under his wing? He has a very distinctive call -which I heard the other day and again yesterday morning! You all know how I love the birds! This guy will call many females to the site and will have many "babies" - guess you could say he's polygamous. The mature male is gorgeous - have only seen one a couple times!

You're probably saying "enough with the bird stuff" - if you've even read this far!

MOJO 85

Hi All!

Here is a late post for Monday - about 9:30 PM - it is my take on the Mojo Monday sketch challenge... I enjoy this particular weekly challenge, however I don't often get it completed on Monday!!! :) As you can see I turned the image to the "landscape" format rather than the "portrait" format! This is my first inking of the Fifth Avenue Flower - did some coloring on it using markers and a blender pen.

I finished getting most of the "stuff" ready for the Spring Fling on Saturday! - with the help of a friend! Glad to get that out of the way on Monday --- now I can "breathe" for the rest of the week!
