More "Love Birds"

Here's another anniversary card made with the digi image from pollycraftdesigns... I just love these cute birds! I cut the birds out and poppd them this time; used the new In Colors from Stampin' Up! and Razzleberry Lemonade DP... also did the inside with a top note and "thumping" with markers on the heart stamp!

Digi Love Birds!

Hi Everyone...

I just finished a card using a digi image "Love Birds" from http://www.pollycraftdesigns.co.uk/

I have very few Anniversary cards made ahead & thought this image would be cute for a few... Here is my first attempt at an Anniversary Card with these adorable love birds! The background CS is REAL RED (51/2 X 51/2) although the picture doesn't do it justice! Must be because it is such a "dull" day - I used a Top Note inside , took a heart stamp from "Simply Said", thumped it with 3 different color markers, stamped it on the Top Note!

White and Black!

I used white as the card base this time. The stripped white and textured black are from Stampin'Up! and the flower is a digi image from Nina at http://ninabdesigns.blogspot.com/
I popped a leaf and a couple of the "smaller" flowers! Isn't it awesome how many small flowers make a "big" flower? What an amazing creation of our amazing Creator!

Another Black and White

I did it! I made 2 more cards last night - only showing you one of them today!
Used Black CS as the base for the card; the white has butterflies embossed on it - something I bought one sheet of eons ago :) - have you ever done that?
I used Tangerine Tango ink for the flower and Kiwi Kiss for the leaves... didn't pop any petals this time. I used the corner punch on 2 diagonal coners of the white mat and then on the opposite diagonal corners of the black mat!

OCCC & Black, White, Green Inspiration

HEY!

Don't yah just love it when the inspiration hits and you're taken away with it? WOW! That's what happened to me this evening.

Here is the inspiration picture... saw this in a Country Living magazine... my picture is not the best, however...

I was also wanting to do the "Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge"

AND - I've been wanting to use a digi image I downloaded from Nina a few days ago... http://ninabdesigns.blogspot.com/

Here is the result of all that! I used Basic Black CS, White from the Textile package, and Kiwi ribbon from Stampin'Up!; some Glittery Black I purchased in my travels; design from Nina; and a retired corner punch (it's a keeper). I hope you're inspired to look at pictures and let the creative juices flow!

I'm sitting here looking at the "real thing" and thinking ... uhmmmmm. Wouldn't this be pretty if I replaced the green with yellow; with purple; with pink; with .... oh! I think I've created a monster! HELP!

Color Throwdown #43 for Nina!

Here is my submission for the colorthrowdown #43 challenge - Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive, Lavender Lace... Nina from http://ninabdesigns.blogspot.com/ - who designed my signature - provided this Digi stamp... I downloaded it from her site and printed it on Whisper White CS; colored it with markers and Blender pen; also used a piece of Digi paper from ???? - I'm sorry I don't remember where I got it from - the colors are gorgeous!!!! It was just sitting here waiting to be used and today was the day, as it went so well with the throwdown colors! I love the sentiment inside the card - also from Nina.

Digital Paper!

HEY!

This blog just passed the 1000 "peeks" mark! How awesome is that?!!!!

I have a card to show you that I made using some "digital paper"...

Until the other day I wasn't even sure what "digital paper" was... I was on StampTV with Gina K... and saw a tab saying "freebies" - of course that caught my attention. Checked it out - found some paper give aways... downloaded them, saved them , then printed a few pages on white cardstock! On this card I used the striped quilted patterened paper - cut it with the Top Note and voila! Enjoy!

There is a stampers group set up for Nova Scotia on Stamp TV - at present there are only 8 members... those of you from our beautiful province might want to check this out, too!
