More Christmas...

Hi everyone!
Today is an absolutely beautiful day! 2 degrees C, sun shining, no wind!
Wooooo Hooooo!!!
I trust you are enjoying the day!
Here are two Christmas cards I made yesterday... clean and simple - using scraps I had on my craft table...

The crunch is on now! Only 27 days left til Christmas! Oh My! I can't believe it!
I did get my Mantle Manger and the Tree up yesterday! I made up my mind that this year I was going very simple! So far so good with that!

Have a wonderful day!
May the SON be shining in your heart!

So much to do and so little time it seems...

NOV. KLUB - finally

Hi everyone!
Guess what was sitting on my desk when I arrived home on Saturday? the attachment for my camera....Dah! I knew I had taken it out of the drawer - it just never got to the camera case!

I had a horrific drive home Saturday... ran into snow in the Valley - major storm; couldn't see anything; then hail and rain and sun! Go figure! and I don't know where the past few days have gone...

Here are the pics from our Klub night last Tuesday ... enjoy!

Hope you are having a great week!
Blessings!

Kreations Klub - November

Hi All!
I am at my daughter's in Lower Sackville (3 hours away from home)... have my computer with me, my camera with - lots of pics from Klub night.... and no cord to attach camera to computer...DAH!
I distinctly remember taking it out of the drawer but guess I was distracted and forgot to pack it .... go figure!!!!

So - no pics from KLUB night til I get back home in a couple days! However, here are the projects we did that night... I always love to see how everyone puts their own spin on each project.... you'll have to wait for that til I get home!

Have a great day!
See you in a few!
Blessings,
Ruthie

Kreations Klub

The Kreations Klub meets tonight ... can't show you any projects until after that!
Here is a card I made a while back when a bunch of gals were together - stampin' and coloring! What is any more fun than that? And what you see here is just the coloring part ... I guess I didn't take a pic of the whole card! Dah!

Have a great day!
Blessings!

Just Believe!

Hello Fellow Stampers!
A friend dropped in yesterday afternoon and we broke out the set "Just Believe" - I had rec'd it a week ago but just hadn't gotten to it yet! I have done this sponging of scenes before - saw one similar to this in my blog surfing the other day... and here is my rendition.
I love this set! But Hey! I say that about every new set I receive! Ummmm. I wonder if I had to part with all but one set (scary thought) - what would that one be? Don't know. Do you?

Enough rambling... here is the card with a view of the inside as well.

Have a wonderful day!

Iridescent Ice Cardinal

Good afternoon!
I see SUNSHINE!
After mega rain and people stranded and roads washed out and bridges destroyed.... the rain has stopped and the sun is shining! Hallelujah!

Just a quick post to share a card I just completed - using Whisper White and Soft Suede. I used VersaMark and Iridescent Ice embossing powder on the Cardinal image... and used a strip of a piece of white CS embossed in the CB ( I brayered the Vintage Wallpaper folder from S. Up! and ran it thru the CB to give this neat wallpaper look.) I debated adding a ribbon of another color and decided against it. I like this with just the 2 colors. Hope you do too!

Thanks for stopping by...
Have a great day! Keep the Son shining in your heart!

Christmas Medallion

HI...
Hope you stayed dry last night! We did but I've heard some news today that some people didn't.... I hope the insurance companies are up to paying out for damage caused by the terrible wind and rain we received!

I had a brainwave this afternoon - I remember seeing a Christmas card somewhere using the Medallion stamp - so I came up with my own version. I love this! So simple!
  • stamp the medallion
  • stamp the bells and bow with Versa mark
  • emboss bells and bow with Gold embossing powder
  • cut circle from gold CS
  • using popdots raise Embossed image on CS
  • adhere to medallion center
and there you have it .... a simple Christmas Card....

Here is another one - using Pacific Point ----
Oh my! My head is spinning at the possibilities of colors one could use!!!!
Happy Stampin' !
See you next week!

Bags and Boxes and such

Good afternoon!
It is a very rainy and windy day here.... If this were snow no one would be moving about! Thankfully it is NOT SNOW!

I did a class last night with a group of Red Hatters! I just love how, as we get older and wiser, we loosen up, care less about what people think, and find joy in everything! I had such a good time with them .... I'm hoping they enjoyed themselves as well!
Here are the projects we did - some were "seasoned stampers" and some not - I gave them instructions for each project so they could do them again at home!

I saw many of these made for hallowe'en on various card sites and decided to adapt it to Christmas... I hope to get a few made to hang on our tree with little treats in them - I will pass them out to our visitors over the Season! So easy to do.... take a 6x6" piece of DP, cut in half on the diagonal and curl into a cone! :)

This one is the "box in a bag" - this one never grows old! We glittered on the snowflakes but you can't see it here.
And this last one is the traditional 12x12" tall box cut in half - I love this one b/c you can make it whatever height you wish ... we did this one in our October Klub night - if you go there you will see it taller than this one here...:)
Thanks for dropping by today! I trust your day is happy and healthy!
Remember to smile thru the raindrops!
