Valentine Tote & Card

Good Morning everyone!
It looks icy out there today ... stay safe if you are out and about!
Here is a Valentine Purse Tote I made last week as a demo for our club night!
I dyed the ribbon using real red re-inker and a sponge.

Here is a close up of the front - I just love this paper found in the new mini - and the small heart punch is just too cute! I can see using this all year 'round

I actually made a card yesterday!
For some reason I am drawn to the black with the pink and red!
I hope I've dressed this enough to make it a suitable Valentine card!
Let me know what you think!
Notice how the little hearts make a great flower!!!

Here is the inside - I will probably stamp another sentiment before I give this one away!

Have a great day!
Make the most of this new week!
Blessings and Hugs!

January Club Night

Here are some shots of "Club Night" this past Tuesday! As always, we had lots of fun and laughs, good food! We made a Purse Tote  like the one I mentioned the other day ... Thanks to Patty Bennett. The theme for this night was Valentine's, as the next time we meet that particular day will have come and gone! Have a wonderful day! And don't forget to Son-bathe today!

Shades of Spring

Good Morning!
The DP used in this set is called Shades of Spring! Guess you can tell what I'm wishing for!!!!
I discovered this project on Patty Bennett's blog http://pattystamps.typepad.com/ a while ago and I resolved one day to tackle it. Well, let me tell you - it is very simple to cut, score, and put together... and what a great gift, especially for someone who is not a card maker!

Front and Side views;

Here are 3 of the 4 cards I made to put in it ... it will actually hold 6 with envelopes ... so I will make a couple more! I love this project!
These cards are not complete yet as I have not put any sentiments on them nor finished the insides - but I wanted you to see them!

I hope you enjoyed your peek here today!
Have a good one!

Nothing New - Everything New!

Hi Everyone!
Hope you survived the storm! Yesterday I went to my "sistas" at noon and didn't get home til 8:30 pm. We laughed, cried, talked to each other - and to ourselves ;) - and crafted all day! WooooHooo!
Lots to show you - nothing new that you haven't already seen before and some new "stuff". Hence the title!

As you can see we had some new punches - Scallop Trim Corner, Scallop Trim Edge; Heart Punch (not shown here); I love the compact design of the new Stampin'Up! punches and the fact that they close up when not in use - makes for easy storage! The butterflies you see here were made with the "Beautiful Wings" Stampin' Up! embosslit die...
Here is a card I made with the heart punch - haven't decided if it will become an Anniversary card or a Valentine for hubby! So - for now - this is it! The DSpaper is from the Holiday Mini which is now finshed.

I am having some trouble this morning with this site so if seems like a mishmash - it probably is!!! LOL!
As of yesterday I still had not made a calendar for myself so I completed that yesterday using the new DSP from the Occasions Mini ... paper is called "Sending Love" and it is Gorgeous!!! One side has glittery designs on it! You gotta love that!

I hope you enjoyed your peek here today! I'll return tomorrow with a couple cards that I've completed since last week!
Remember - God loves you and so do I!

Just the beginning.....

Hi everyone! Here it is - the begining of another year! Ummmmm. Wonder what it holds?

I have "just the begining" of a couple cards to show you... I did stamp the other day and made 2 card fronts ... using Anne Schach as my inspiration ... http://stampinchic.com/

I will come back later today or tomorrow and show you the completed cards!
Have a great weekend!
It's snowing here! Supposed to get 20 cm... or something like that! I'll stay tucked inside, nice and warm today, I think!
