PPA39 - KISS

Good Morning!
It's TGIF already!
Where did the week go? My goodness!
Does everyone feel time passing by quickly or is it just me? I thought that when I retired I'd be wondering how to get through the weeks - not so - I wish they'd slow down a bit!!!
I can't keep up!

I have to make a couple cards today for our Secret Sister Revealing tomorrow... The Secret Sister ministry at our church is such a blessing! To know that one is being prayed for is amazing! I made this card a couple weeks ago ... I think this one is just perfect for one of the gals!
She truly has been remarkable - all that - and more!

This card is very simple - using DSP and very little stamping ...
I think it fits the challenge at PPA this week.

Gotta run - this morning is grocery morning; have to watch the shop this afternoon for a while and ....
of course, make some cards!
Have a creative day!
Blessings!

Banana Split

Hi everyone!
It's that time of year when one thinks about heading out for the evening to get an ice cream or sundae or banana split. That is something we will do on a nice spring or summer evening.
I first saw this card in an issue of Stampin' Success and then on someones blog so decided to make one as well. My ice cream is a little bigger cuz I didn't have the right size circle punch ... but hey! I love ice cream so this would certainly work for me! :)
This was lots of fun to do!
We had our club night last night and 2 of the gals brought projects for us to do! That was great! I had a chance to sit and "play" with them all! Such fun!
Have a great day!!!!
Blessings...

I'm Back!!!!

Hi All!
I have not had access to my computer and card pics for almost a week now! WOW! What a lesson that has been in patience and not letting frustration overtake me! BUT - finally - today she has returned! It actually wasn't the computer as such - it was the cord which had been chewed thru by some little creature ... Teddie perhaps? Probably so! The cord/adapter had to be ordered from Texas - so really, it was quite quick in getting here! Gotta love that!

Here are a couple cards I made a while back - hope you enjoy! I used the flower fusion die cut for this first one... the leaves are from the Bird punch and the 2 single leaves are the bird's wings!

I cased this second one ... but it is not exactly the same as the one I cased ... I forget who had done the other one.
I haven't been able to check my fav card sites all week - gonna go do that now!
Have a great weekend...

TWINCHIE

Hey!
You may be asking "what is a 'twinchie'?" Well - I visited a site within the last couple days where they were making "twinchies" ... so I thought I'd give it a try. The idea is to have a 2" X 2" area (the twinchie) be the focal point of the card.
Here is my attempt at this challenge.

I used the little deer from Forest Friends; Garden Green CS which is retiring; and DP from the SAB packet of DP. The sentiment and swirl  are some stamps I rec'd when I won some blog candy a while back. I took the tree from the forest friends set and stamped it at the top to look like he was under the overhang of a tree... and inside the card I stamped the tree where I will write a note to someone...

Hope you enjoyed your peek today.
Have a great weekend!

HUGS!

OOPS - As I checked this over I realized I forgot to put some shadow under his feet - I meant to do this before I took the picture... Oh well! Hopefully you can picture that in place so he doesn't look like he's floating in thin air! LOL!
