Re-cycled!

Hi Everyone!
I had a wonderful weekend with my girls! A busy one too. M has started "Dance" so we went to her dance class on Saturday morning... about 10 beautiful little girls ... each one knowing she was a princess. I am so blessed and thankful for my family!
However, by the time I arrived home Sunday afternoon a "bug" had presented itself to me!!!
You don't want to know the details... Needless to say, I'm a little under the weather today. So I'm recycling a card I made a while back - because, even tho I am not feeling well, I AM feeling blessed!
This is my "cyber card" to all of you - thank you for blessing my life!

Thanks for stopping by... ***Hugs*** ...

An "Oldie".... Delight In Life

Hi Everyone!
The sun is shining .... whoooohoooo!
I've had this booklet sitting on a shelf in my hallway for a long time and decided to show it to you today. It was the first attempt I made at a crafty stamping "journal". I used the business tags - size approx. 5 X 3 - covered each with DSP and embellished. I need to add some pages to it! It's like a mini scrapbook.

This is the front cover -
Here's a view with the pages fanned out -

My family - when Madison was just an infant - she's now almost 7! Where do the years go?
One of my most favorite Scriptures!
A Lifelong Dream come true!!!! We went on an Alaskan Cruise and Wilderness Tour in May and June of 2006 - It was AWESOME!!!!
Hope you enjoyed this little peek into my world today! I am off tonight to a local Christian Camp (Camp Peniel) for a Ladies Spa Weekend! Great Praise and Worship; One of the best speakers around will be there (Pam Mood); lots of fun activites; quiet time; skits and comedy acts; and FOOD like you wouldn't beleive! We Will Be Blessed!
Have a great weekend and I`ll see you on Monday!
Blessings and HUGS!

Hi Everyone....
I'm later today... will have lots to show you over the next few days - we have club tonight! YEAAAAA!
A few weeks ago I saw this tutorial on kwernerdesignblog and have been wanting to try it... today was the day!

I love the diagonal rays ... I didn't get them together the way I would have liked so I hid the corner with a crochet flower and brad! You never would have known if I hadn't confessed! :)
Hope you're enjoying this beautiful fall day!

Another FALL Card

Hi Everyone!
Looks like a gorgeous day in store for us! :) It's a busy one for me so this is just a quick post.

This is a Clean and Simple Fall card I made the other day! Again I used the leaves from the Blessings Wheel. I planned on doing lots of stampin' over the weekend - but for some reason it didn't happen! Have Club tomorrow night and not ready for that either.... Time has a way of getting away from me sometimes!
Enjoy! And - Have a great day!

PPA#7 and CTD#59

Hi!
I did 2 challenges this morning... in amongst other things!
The Color Throwdown Challenge was to use these colors - very "fallish" aye?
And the sketch was from Pals Paper Arts ...
I used Close to Cocoa as my background CS; used the Bright Blessings Wheel (I think I've mentioned before that when I got this wheel I cut it apart so I could use it with my acrylic blocks - it is soooooo versatile and I love it!); Pumpkin Pie ribbon. I think I will use this sketch again to make more Fall/Thanksgiving Cards.
Here is my card:

And here is the inside - I think I got carried away with the leaves! :)

Hope you enjoyed this peek today!
It's beautiful out there right now! At 7 a.m. it was 4 degrees - almost to freezing! What's with that??????
Have a good day!

Dasher on Tuesday!

Hi!
Here I am again! I started out deciding to make a card using the new "Dasher" stamp from Stampin' Up! Dasher is a single stamp available for $10.95. He is so elegant. I was going to do the MOJO Monday Sketch but it didn't turn out that way! Does that ever happen to you? I'll do that later.
I knew I had lots of retired DP from last year so I dug that out, as well as the Chocolate Chip ribbon from a while ago (retired) and - VOILA! - here is another Christmas Card!
That makes 5 or 6 I have made now!
Hope you enjoy! I'm putting in an order tonight so if you want me to order this little guy for yah let me know!

Have a great day!

"There's A Change A Comin' "

Hi All!
"There's a change a comin' " .... aren't those words to a song?

I feel to share something with you today - Stampin Up! has made an executive decision to make some changes to the Demonstrator Agreement - to be effective October 1st. It affects those with blogs particularly. I will do my best to follow as they require, and hope and pray that I meet their guidelines... if I find that I can't do that with integrity then I will have to give up being a demonstrator - (which I so don't want to do)... these next few months will definitely be a test. Because I am not on any Design Teams (that's my dream though!) or working with any other stamp companies this may have little effect on me.

I love being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and all that means; I love the product - but I also love a lot of other stuff out there! I do not promote my blog as a Stampin' Up! Business Blog - it is a personal blog - a place to share my love of this craft - period; what ever stamps and paper I use. I will still be able to do that but will not be able to give you a recipe detailing the stamps etc. that I have used - if they are other than Stampin' Up!

I'm not going anywhere - I trust you won't either!
Please bear with me thru this transition period!
Love you all!

A Medallion For You!

Hi Everyone!
Happy Labour Day to everyone!
We are even closing our shop today! WhooHooo!

Hasn't the weather been glorious? I feel bad for the teachers and students who have had to return to school after all the miserable weather to only have the nice stuff now! I remember that happening to me a few times throughout my teaching career!

I received two Stampin'Up! parcels the other day- one of them had the new Stampin'Up! Medallion stamp in it ... I thought I'd give it a try last night - here are the results of that! I used Old Olive for the background CS and Cottage Wall DP; Rich Razzleberry ink. I also used a few dew drops - in keeping with the new policies from Stampin' Up! I am unable to tell you where I purchased these.

I really like this stamp and see lots of great possibilities with it! I am going to try an embossed image sometime today - hopefully will have that to show you tomorrow!

Have a great day! Enjoy the sun!
Blessings on you all!

Pals Paper Arts #6

Good Morning!
Looks like another nice one! WhooHooooooo. I finished my Relish yesterday; Did the Market for hubby from 4-7 while he stayed home and did a couple jobs for me - :)
I'm off for the early shift at the Cancer Centre this morning - when I get home I'm making some Carrot Relish and getting the "stuff" ready for Chow whiich I'll finish tomorrow morning! That's it for me with the pickles!

Last night at about 11:30 I was making this card ... I knew I wouldn't have time today to do it!!!
Pals Paper Arts has a weekly challenge - this week is a color challenge... When I pulled my CS out I thought it was kind of drab - but I like the end result... Hope you do too. Enjoy your day!

Thanks for peeking!

Simple Thank You!

Hi all!
Another beautiful day yesterday! Started the Relish in the p.m. - has to sit overnight - and is finished in the morning! I took Teddie for a walk on the waterfront ... it was quite warm! He's a little trooper... all 2 pounds of him! :) Here he is chewing on a piece of grass a week ago!

I made 2 cards the other day ... used the CuttleBug and the new In Colors with matching ribbon; Pocket Silhouette stamp and Scallop Square punch. So easy to do .... I like these ... may have to do a few more in other colors and put a package together - using different sentiments!

Hope you enjoyed your peek today!
Have a good one!

A Masculine Card!

Hi all!
Did you enjoy yesterday? The weather was awesome, wasn't it? I got the itch to make some pickles about noon time ... and once it hits I have to do it ... otherwise it might not get done! Here is the finished product - a Bread & Butter recipe that calls for one green and one red pepper to be added to the cukes and onions!
Look good, don't they? :) Hubby will be happy!

The other day I decided to make an encouraging card for a special young man - that was a challenge in itself - to step away from "girlie or feminine" and try to do something masculine... I hope you will agree that this does just that. I used DP and stamps from Our Daily Bread Designs; CS & ribbon from Stampin' Up!; oval Nesties.

Here is the inside...
Have a great day - we have a guy coming "early" this morning to put a security system in the house; the cleaner is coming; and I'm volunteering this afternoon! Doesn't sound like much time to stamp does it? Oh well!!!
Thanks for stopping by!
