Pink, Pink, and More Pink

Good Morning Stampers!
It sure feels like fall today - looks like it and smells like it! :)
I guess it is inevitable!

PINK!
Not a color that is on my favorite list -
Not a color I use a lot in my stamping!
Not sure why - I just don't gravitate towards it..... but - one day I decided to make a pink card! I may have gone overboard here! LOL!
Here it is!

Here is the inside -
I
I have a friend that would love this card just by virtue of the fact that it is pink!!!! Look out Deb it may be yours! LOL!

Thanks for peeking in today!
Have a great Wednesday - the weekend is coming!

Winter Memories????

NO!
I don't even want to think about Winter ... but I guess it is inevitable! The seasons change and we must go with them! So - When the Holiday catty from Stampin' Up! arrived I saw a set in it that I was quite taken with - Winter Memories! Here are 2 cards I have made with this set ... both of the colored with blender pen and markers or ink pads.

Thanks for stopping by ... I`ll try to be more faithful in posting here this week. It has been a week since I`ve been in my craft room - the old fibro hit me and wiped me out! But I`m on the mend - hope to get some crafting done today!
Have a good one!
See you soon!

Serenity

Hey Stampers!
How about this humidity? MAN! Makes me "almost" wish for November to roll around quickly! NOTE - I said "almost" ..... it sure would be nice to feel some DRY air around me! Everything in the house is sticky!!!! UCK!
'NUFF .....
Here is a card made using the Serene Silhouettes set.... I love this set ... this card is a pretty simple design... I sometimes find myself using the same layout over and over ...

I inked the image with versamark and Old Olive ink, stamped it, then covered with clear embossing powder and heated it ... then sponged in the sky.

Well - I have a full day ahead of me today - preparing for Card Klub this Saturday...
So - on that note - Have an awesome day! Thanks for stopping by!

Lacy & Lovely on a Rainy Morn...

Good Morning Fellow Stampers!
Some much needed rain is falling this morning. I have been awake since 5 a.m. - don't like that! But - got up and read ... what else can one do? :)

Here is a card I made last week using the Lacy & Lovely set - Calyspo Coral is the primary color here ... not one I use a lot but when I do I'm pleased with the result!

I did some "paper piercing" on this card... using the new Paper Piercing Pack. Just a simple thing like a little paper piercing will give a whole new dimension to a card! :)

Here is the inside view -
Thanks for stopping by - have a great weekend; be creative; have some fun!

Everything Eleanor - in Blue

Good Sun-Shiny Morning!!!
What a beauty of a day this one is going to be!
This card was made using the "Everything Eleanor" set - I love this set ... it is so versatile!
[Side note - I wonder how Stampin' Up! comes up with the names of their sets - I'm sure there is a "team" that decides - just wish I knew how this one got its name! :)  ]

Here, I paired it with a doily and some DSP from the packet in the Holiday Mini. Very simple card - but elegant, I think.

Here is a close-up of the flowers ... I stamped each one twice and popped the middle section onto the bottom petals ... One of my fav things to do with flowers!
Have a wonderful day!

REMEMBER WHEN ...

Hi Stampers!
I have a card for you that I saw demonstrated by a very talented Stampin' Up! demonstrator ... Tanya Bell. I fell in love with the flower and the card... it took me back to my childhood. NO! I don't remember the 1920s!!! :) BUT - I do remember - as a kid -  watching black and white movies starring Bette Davis and others - LOVED them! Still do to this day! And loved the way the gals dressed in the 20s ...
So - here is my take on a Flapper Hat - or a Cloche Hat - [cloche is French for bell] ...

This is the inside of the card ... I guess it will have to go to someone who "remembers when" with me!!! :)
And this is the chrysanthemum ... made with scallop punches!

Have a fun day today!
Remember - God reigns and the Son shines!
Blessings!

Happy "I DO" Day ...

Good Morning!
Another weekend is upon us! Looks like the sun is trying to break thru! I sure hope it does!
I had some friends drop in yesterday - one of them was wanting to make a card for her grand-daughter's wedding ..... so she enlisted my 'help'! Here is the card I made for her - Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White! Some dry embossing and some heat embossing... a little ribbon, and a pearl -

This is what we put inside the card - and grandma will write a special note to the couple ... (we embossed this as well)

We got a little carried away - embossed hearts on the envelope! :)
Thanks for peeking in today!
Have a great weekend and I'll see you next week with some new stuff... The Holiday Catalogue went "LIVE" on August 1st ... it is loaded with all sorts of goodies! Give me a call if you would like to have one!
