I have had great pleasure checking out the blog of Heather Telford - Bits and Pieces - http://cardz.wordpress.com/ She makes some amazing cards and has inspired me to try her techniques. I had a friend in for lunch today and we went to the craft room afterwards (of course!) and tried this sponging technique. First I made some templates using light chipboard.... here is the end result.
We used the "Pocket Silhouettes" stamp set...
This is Myra's card .... using Certainly Celery and Old Olive inks -
And this is my card ... using Baja Breeze and Pacific Point inks -
Thanks for stopping by!
Stay warm and safe.
Many HUGS!

Nice job, Ruthie, I like the three ovals, I tend to forget about ovals as possible masks. What a nice after lunch activity to do with friends. Thanks for linking to my blog and for your encouraging words.
