HELLO!!!!
I am finally back! I was away all last week at my daughters... spending time with my granddaughter as she was off from school for the week. We had good grammie and granddaughter times!
I have decided that this year I would be much more intentional in responding to the leading of God - when someone comes to my mind I will make them a card, call them, definitely pray for them.... as there is a reason God has laid them on my heart! So - this morning I made a card for a young mom in my church who has been on my mind all week....
Thanks for peeking in today!
Blessings on yah!
It is good to be home!
Creativity, Inspiration, Color, Love, Joy, Laughter, Peace, Kindness, Grace, Hope, Strength, Gladness, Serenity, Knowledge, Rejoicing, Intention, Music, Forgiveness, Discipline, Wisdom, God's Wonderful World --- just a few of my favorite things! Pull up a chair; make yourself comfy; visit with me for a while & leave me a comment! Blessings on all who visit!

Sympathy X 2...
Good Morning!!!
I thought you might get a chuckle out of this ...The other day I awoke to sunshine after the snow!
Here are the some of hubby's pigs rooting around in the snow... these are just some medium sized ones -
I don't have a pic of the big fella!
It seems that I've needed a few sympathy cards lately... I used the Medallion stamp and made a simple card front. Then I added a different embellishment just to show how you can change it up a little.
This first one has one of the 'Big Designer Buttons' in the center of the Medallion stamp;
This second one has a stamped flower with a filigree and glitter brad in it placed in the center of the Medallion stamp.
Thanks for stopping by today...
Kreations Klub meets tonight so I'll have some pics for you within the next couple days.
Just to give you advance warning... I will be away all next week so will be absent from blogger land - probably til the beginning of March...
Have a great day - stay safe!
HUGS!!!

SSC Challenge #75
Good morning stampers!
What a beautiful day today! This must be the "calm before the storm" cuz I hear another storm is on its way! "Oh Spring - Hurry to us please!!!!"
Last night was Superbowl night here.... some friends came in and while the guys watched the game and ate up a storm - the girls made cards .... gotta love that! Here is one I made for a very special little one in my life. I love this image of the two girls hugging each other...
The Stampin' Sisters in Christ have a challenge to make a card that "shows" love without any words... this card doesn't quite fit the challenge but I'm submitting it anyway cuz I love these girls and how they are showing their love for each other!!!
1 John 3:18 - Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
Thanks for stopping by - have a great day! And may your love be just as the Scripture says ... with actions and in truth.
Blessings -

Pops of Color!
Hi everyone! The sun has gone down and night is upon us. Hubby just came in and said that it is really snowing out there. He will probably have to get up about 4 a.m. to go do some plowing! The abattoir is supposed to be operational tomorrow but I wonder if that will happen if this storm hits us as expected - no one will be able to get to work!
I have had great pleasure checking out the blog of Heather Telford - Bits and Pieces - http://cardz.wordpress.com/ She makes some amazing cards and has inspired me to try her techniques. I had a friend in for lunch today and we went to the craft room afterwards (of course!) and tried this sponging technique. First I made some templates using light chipboard.... here is the end result.
We used the "Pocket Silhouettes" stamp set...
This is Myra's card .... using Certainly Celery and Old Olive inks -
And this is my card ... using Baja Breeze and Pacific Point inks -
Thanks for stopping by!
Stay warm and safe.
Many HUGS!
