Plum, Eggplant, Old Olive Circles!

Hi Everyone!
Isn't this a beautiful day? No humidity! I'm thankful for that!
Here are some cards I made a while back using non-Stampin' Up! DP and stamps ... Card stock and Ribbon is Stampin' Up!
We've had our granddaughter here for a couple weeks so haven't done much in the way of cards.... I have a Workshop order coming today (I hope); have a couple new stamps in it ... hopefully will stamp after she goes to bed tonight and will post it tomorrow!

Have a great day!!! Enjoy the sunshine!

Nature's Nest and Greenhouse Gala

Hi all! I have a simple little card for you today ... used Greenhouse Gala DP and pumpkin pie ribbon, the turtle from Nature's Nest.... the card looks incomplete b/c I have not put a sentiment on it yet!

Here is another card I made a few days ago using non-S.Up! DP .... I like it's simplicity ... again no sentiment yet!

Thanks for peeking today!
It's 16 degrees C today compared to 23 yesterday.... but it is still humid and sticky!
Blessings!

Greenhouse Gala

Hey!
Finally cleaned up my room - again! Yesterday morning in all that heat ...  but it had to be done! :)
Then felt the mojo returning ... so I made this card.
Used Greenhouse Gala DSP ... oh so pretty... Concord Crush for the mats ... 24-7 for the stamps... didn't put a sentiment on it ... I'll keep this one in my stash to use "whenever" ... will put a sentiment on it or in it when I decide to use it!
Love the new pearls from Stampin' Up!

Hope you have a crafty day ... and that your heart is full of laughter!
Blessings!

On A Foggy Tuesday!

Good Morning!
Wasn't yesterday a beauty? Wow!
Spent yesterday afternoon with family and friends, enjoying the sunshine.
Today - I really need to do some housework! Ugh! that dreaded word!
Again - I can't see much of my craft table - how does that happen?
Enough of that!

Here are a couple cards I made a week or so ago with DP that a friend brought along to our stampin' day.... it is not Stampin' Up! but is sooooo pretty ... all the rest of the supplies used are S. Up!

Have a wonderful day! May it be filled with laughter and love!
Blessings,
Ruthie

CLUB 10 July

The other night was the last Club meeting for the season - one of the gals had us in for supper - quiche, salads, triffle, and blueberry tort - and then we went to this months hostess' home and swam in the pool after the card making session! A fun-filled evening for sure! Thank you Debra and Anna for all of it!

Here are the 2 cards we made at Club the other night - I forgot my camera so don`t have pics of the girls renditions of these cards!   :(
I used sponges to shade in the sky and ground on this one... (I seem to have more luck with sponges than I do with the brayer.)

Of course - one of them HAD to be a Christmas card! Gotta love this ribbon!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day - we`re off to the beach soon. Lots of fun!

Passing Time!

Good morning!
Isn't this rain something else?
It's just teeming down here and has been for quite a while!
I love to be inside on a dreary day ... hearing the rain and reading or stamping or ...
our granddaughter is here so there will be none of that!
We'll be coloring or playing cards or playing a game or ... who knows what!

In the meantime - here a 3 cards I made the other day using new and old CS. I wonder what the most popular color of CS is for S. UP! I just betcha that Old Olive is high up there!

These 3 cards are pretty simple ones....

Hope you enjoyed your peek here today... tomorrow I'll post the cards we made at Club.
Today,  hopefully,  my NEW DSP plus other "stuff" will arrive -
Gotta run!
Keep smiling thru the raindrops!

It's A New day

Quick post today... my girls are home - Club tonight (I'm still not ready) - lots of fun to be had today! :)
Here is a card I made using the new Daffodil Delight - I just love this yellow! Now, normally, I'm not a yellow lover - it has to be the right shade to grab me ... I believe this is it!! ;)
Used Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise, Daffofil Delight - what a great combo!
Have a wonderful day!
Later!

Sympathy Card

Good Morning Everyone!
It's another humid, sticky day! But hey! It's summer!!! Yea! I'll take whatever comes our way! And try not to complain about any of it! Don't know why we bother to complain anyway - it solves nothing and there is not one single thing we can do about the weather... it is what it is! So today, I'm rejoicing in our Lord and letting HIS JOY fill my heart! Trust you're doing the same :)

My friend and I had a "stampin' marathon" of sorts over the past couple days! So I have lots of cards to show you this next week or so. We used all Stampin' Up! card stock new and retired; SUp! inks and markers; other DP. My July order has not arrived yet - can't wait to get my hands on some NEW DSP!

My girl and her girl are coming to visit for a week ... they will be here on Monday - so there will be very little stampin' done ... of course Madi loves to make cards (she's 7) so we'll have to make a few for Daddy and her friends! :)

Here is a Sympathy card I made for a gal whose dad passed away recently. It's hard to lose a parent and my heart goes out to her.

Have a wonderful day today! Stay tuned.... there will be more to come!

New Stamper!

Hi Everyone!
Wow! This was some hot day again!
Thankfully it cooled off this evening!
I love the cool breezes!
This afternoon a friend and I spent some time with a gal who has never stamped before ...
she is very crafty otherwise and really wanted to try her hand at card making.
Here are the cards she made this afternoon!
I think she did a great job -
I gave her some supplies to get her started - and I know she'll be back for more fun!
Great job, Elaine!!!!!
I'm off to the Market tomorrow morning... if you're looking for a great place to be on a Saturday morn - this is it! Hopefully see you there!
Have a wonderful day!
Keep a song in your heart and a smile on your face!
Blessings,
Ruthie
