Happy Together!

Hi Stampers!

I have a card this morning that I made the other day using the "Happy Together" stamp set. I used Brilliant Blue and Crushed Curry for the colors... as I was doing this I thought it was kind of a crazy color combo - but I really like the end result. Hope you do too!

I hope this isn't all messed up when I finally post it! I am having trouble this morning with editing this post - I just wrote a devotional on "peace" (http://thisisthedayrejoice.com/) .... and now I'm frustrated. I guess the ole devil doesn't want me to have any peace at this moment in time! Well! I'm 'gonna' fool him!

Guest Showcase!

Another Fossil Stone Card

Good Monday Morning!
I trust everyone had a great weekend... they sure go by fast, don't they?
Here is a card I made the other day using the "fossil stone" technique... I also used the Bird Punch ... gotta love this little bird - I have seen him used in so many ways!

I have major housework to do today ... so must get on with it! Oh Joy!

Club 10 - February

Hi Stampers!

Here it is Frifday! Whoa! Time is just passing by too fast for me!

We had our Club on Tuesday evening and had a new stamper join us! Isn't he just the cutest? He looks sort of like "what am I doing here?" This is my Teddie!

In the next 2 pics you will see the girls hard at work! In amongst all the laughter and fun!

Here are the 2 cards we made:

The "Friends" card was made using the "fossil"stone" technique - we made our own designer paper using this technique - it is too cool! The leaves for the flowers are from the Bird Punch and the 2 larger leaves are the bird wing! :) The set used was 'Vintage Vogue' - one of my newest favs!

The "Trendy Trees" card was made with DP from Sweet Peas. We used the stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the tree tops and tree trunks. This was a  fun little card.

Another "Thank You"

Hey!
Is it cold enough for you today? My that wind is bitter!
A good afternoon to stay inside and get creative.

Here is a card I made yesterday using the Sweet Pea DSP... It's pretty simple - I took the Stampin'Up! black marker and placed a dot in the eyes of the birds... they didn't have any life to them before I did that! The ribbon is from an old stash I have.

WHOA! Where did a week go? I can't believe that a week has passed by - it has been a busy one for me.
I hope the next one calms down a little!
Here is a Thank You card I made the other day... I used DP from Sweet Pea - it's great!
I also covered a bit of the back and the flap of the envelope - used the small heart punch on it.
This card is for a special lady who has blessed a group of young moms in our church - I left lots of white space for them to write little notes to her.

Hi All!
Well! The "girls" arrived safely last evening about 6 p.m. - it is so good to have them here for a couple days!
Here is the card I made yesterday - for my "sister"! :) Letting her know that she is in my thoughts and prayers everyday!

The DSP is from SAB - "Welcome Neighbor" - 72 sheets total: 6X6 paper; 3 each of 24 double-sided designs. I used the Extra Large Two-Step Bird Punch... LOVE this! Also the Scallop Trim Corner Punch and the Curly Label Punch. I also placed some DP inside to show thru the corner but had already written in the card when I decided to take a pic of it! The sentiment is from the set "Whimsical Words" - also a SAB set! Gotta love that SAB!
I had hoped to make another card - the same - using Melon Mambo as the basic CS and more DP from this packet - time got away from me and it didn't happen.

Sneak Peek!

Hi everyone!
I have a quick post today! Seems the mornings get away from me so fast sometimes! Does that happen to you?
I have a sneak peek for you ... Have to put the finishing touches on this and do something else before I can show you the whole package! This is the new two step bird punch - LOVE it!
Isn't she just the cutest thing yet?

Gotta run... have a good one! I have to go out in this snow! I'll be so glad when Spring gets here!
