I have a guest stamper today ....
My friend Myra, made these "spotlight" cards the other day as we crafted and visited in my craft room! This is a technique I haven't done for a while ----
I took a pic of this one before she had completed the card and then didn't get a pic of the completed card! DAH!
Hope you enjoyed your peek today!
Have a great day one and all!

The Language Of Friendship
Good Afternoon!
It has been a "nippy" day here - but the sun has been shining so that makes it all worth while! :) I trust you have enjoyed the day.... thanks for taking a moment to stop in here!
The other day I used the stamp set "Language of Friendship" and the 2 punches that co-ordinate with it to make this card! I used Soft Suede and Rose Red as the two primary colors.
Here is the bird - close up! I just love him - he is so cute!
Amd here is the inside of the card!
I spent quite a bit of time getting the front of this card just right :0 The next day I spoke at a Friendship Tea for ladies who are single or single again and gave this card away as one of the prizes for some draws they were doing! Such fun!
Again - thanks for peeking ....

SAB and Mixed Bunch!
HEY! TGIF!
I hope today sees your week winding down so you will have a quiet, relaxing weekend! Again, this has been a "crazy" week for me .... so I am glad to see Friday roll around! Here is a card we made at our Kreations Klub a week ago ... the DSP, ribbon, brad, and stamp set are all SAB items! The ribbon and brads come together in a package with a second roll of ribbon in the Lucky Limeade color - so some of the girls made their bow using the 2 colors of ribbon and it was really pretty!
I have a second card for you today .... I made this a while back - as you know I LOVVVEEE this set - Mixed Bunch. I don't know what there is about it but it certainly has an attraction for me! I stamped one of the flowers on black CS - using versamark ink - and then embossed it with white embossing powder. Isn't it gorgeous?
Here is the simple card I made with this flower ....
Thanks for peeking in today! I hope you enjoyed your visit! Have a wonderful weekend!

Rock and Roll Butterfly
Hey stampers!
Where did a week go???? I prepped for Card Klub last week and held that on Saturday ... and haven't been back to the Craft Room until today! Phew! I hope things get a little slower for a while!
Today I have an Easter Card for you .... one we made at Klub (I used a retired Easter set for this one) and Mixed Bunch from the current Mini. The flower is stamped in Daffodil Delight and the the edges are "rock and rolled" in Island Indigo - then a couple petals are cut away to form a beautiful butterfly! Isn't she pretty?
I hope you enjoyed your peek today! Thanks for stopping by! I will try to get back in the next day or so with another card!
HUGS and Blessings!

You Make My Whole Face Smile!
Happy Valentine's Day!
I'm a little late today .... but - "better late than never".... as they say!
Here is a card that we made at our January Klub - it is the Valentine I gave my grand-daughter because she does just that .... "makes my whole face smile"! :0
I apologize ... the color in this pic isn't the best.... I used Daffodil Delight, Eggplant and Olive but you'd never know it! :(
Ohhhhhh ... I really like the new stitched ribbon!
Thanks for stopping by.... hope your day is filled with lots of love!

Fresh Vintage Indigo
Hi Stampers!
Just a quick post to share a card I just finished making. This card is for a lady whose husband died a couple weeks ago.
I used the SAB set "Fresh Vintage" - took the flower image and stamped it with Island Indigo ink on 1 & 3/4" squares of Whisper White CS; matted these with 2X2" pieces of Pool Party CS. The base of the card is Pool Party cut to fit a letter size envelope. I used a sentiment from Word Play; and a piece of DSP from the 2011-2013 In Color Assortment package found on page 176 in the Idea Book and Catalogue.
Here is a veiw of the inside...
Did you notice the fancy "strip" stamped just above the DSP ... lovin' this particular stamp ...
Thanks for stopping by today!
You are a blessing to me!

Top Note, Fab Florets, and a Little Lace!
Hey Stampers!
TGIF!
Thank Goodness It's Friday! Thank Goodness I'm Female! Thank God I'm Forgiven!
I think they all apply today! :)
I made this card after seeing a similar one somewhere in blogger-land! :) The other card maker used an oval instead of the top note and placed her flowers differently than I have ... but her card was the inspiration!
Using Early Espresso ink I stamped the Fabulous Florets flowers on DSP and then cut them out - same for the little leaves ... tedious but well worth the effort! Most of the flowers are popped for dimension! This DSP is from the Sale-A-Bration! It is soooo pretty! I had intended to add some lace around the top note and forgot to do it before I had adhered it to the CS.... so - a bow came from that! And I quite like this bow! :) A couple of glue dots keep the tails bent rather than lying flat.
Here is the inside of the card!
I just might use this as a card for the Kreations Klub this month! :)
Thanks for stopping by - Have a wonderful day!

Tangerine Tango and Old Olive!
Good Morning!
I am NOT an "orange" person... can't wear the color but have acquired a taste for some shades of it over the past couple years; and one of those "shades" is Tangerine Tango! I just love this color! So, as you may have already guessed, my card today uses Tangerine Tango with some Old Olive ...my absolute fav color. I heat embossed one of the blossoms from Mixed Bunch with TT and created this card around it. Used the Hello Doily stamp for the background and OO satin ribbon...
Here is the inside of this card....
Hope you enjoyed your peek here today!
Have a good one!
May you be blessed beyond measure!
