Where did 2010 go to? I feel like it zoomed past me!
As I get older it seems the time passess faster! I wonder why that is!
No card today! I may get in the craft room this afternoon and have something for you in the next day or so but for now - I am sending this blessing your way!
"The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace."

Revised and Embellished!
After I made and posted the cards for the OLW34 challenge yesterday I felt like they were not complete... So I took a few minutes in the evening to revise and embellish them!
Here is the Lovely As a Tree card with glass glitter added to it; I also sponged and punched it! LOL!
Friends 24-7 has had a corner punch used on it and I added pearls to the stamped image.

One-Layer Wednesday 34
Good Morning!
I found a challenge this morning... at http://stylesink.ca/. The challenge - to make a one layer card using only one image stamp and a maximum of 2 ink colors. A "one layer card" is a single piece of CS folded in half....whoa! this is so not me most of the time - I like to layer to some degree! And even when I do use a one layer concept I still embellish and layer other "stuff" on it! Anyway .... here is my take on this challenge. I made 2 cards - one using Cherry Cobbler and the other using Not Quite Navy ink.
I'm now off to get some work done around here today! Starting with my mangers and then the tree... THEN - this craft room looks like the winds from the blizzard that passed us by settled in it! :) so --- it is due for a major overhaul!
Stay warm and safe -

Sponging!
Hi There!
It's a cold one here today! Think I'll stay put - it's nice & warm inside!
Here is a card I made a while ago and hadn't shared with you all yet ... I cased this from http://connietumm1.typepad.com/ ... it is very similar to a card she did last March! She also does some amazing collages - you might want to check out her blog... someday when I feel ambitious I might try a collage!
I used the Vintage Vogue set - sponged an area in the middle of the white with Daffodil Delight then spritzed the whole white area with Tempting Turquoise; of course, I used my favorite green -Old Olive- for the vine...
I think this turned out quite nice!
Here is the inside of the card...
Stay safe and warm today!
Many hugs to you all as we approach the end of another year!
Blessings!

Calendar Frenzy!
Good Morning!
Sorry I have been "MIA" for the past week ... it was one of those weeks with lots to do... seems to me I was up and out of the house almost every morning by 9a.m.! Then had another trip to the big city for acupuncture - yesterday was a wipeout! didn't do much of anything! Today I am full of it again - wanted to show you the calendars I made with a friend last week. Having the KLUB girls here tonight for a social time - better get my act together real soon, aye?
I do these "doodle bookmark calendars" to give away whenever! Once I doodle on them I laminate them so they are good for the year!
Here are the desk calendars - some made with coasters (I have sooooooooo many coasters) and the others done with CS. Fun to do!
Hope you enjoyed your peek here today! I will probably post once more before the BIG DAY!
Family are coming on Christmas Eve for a few days! Can't wait! Our 8 year old granddaughter was very concerned about how Santa was firstly, going to find her; and, secondly, going to get in our house. She didn't know if leaving the door unlocked for him was such a great idea or not :)
Have a blessed Merry Christmas!!!!
In Him,
Ruthie

I think it's a "Valentine Card"!
Good morning everyone!
The wind is a howling around this place this morning! Before I got out of my comfy warm bed I was sure it must be snowing too - but it's not! I'm glad of that! Don't get me wrong!!! I love to see the snow on the trees with the sun shining on them! It is beautiful! BUT - I don't like to see the snow on the roads nor do I like driving in the stuff!
'Nuff said!
Here is another "non-Christmas" card I made the other day using Real Red CS and Very Vanilla inside. The Heart is from the set 'Sweetheart' and Sentiments are from the 'I {Love} Love' jumbo wheel. I took the wheel and cut it apart to give me numerous sentiments. DSP is miscellaneous paper I have kicking around here!
Thanks for stopping by today!
May your day be filled with much joy and laughter!
Blessings!

NOT A Christmas Card - & A give-away!
Hey!
I've been a busy bee this morning... Made a triple batch of "Nuts and Bolts" - used Mom's recipe of course! She made these every Christmas when we were kids... and I have carried on the tradition over the years. One year I didn't get to it... for whatever reason - and hubby was disappointed. So it is a MUST around here!
I have cleaned up all the Christmas DSP in my possession and have "put it away" til next year! In the process of doing that I just had to go thru my stash of other DSP :0 --- and found this beautiful red and coral paper (not Stampin' Up!) Here is the card I made using the stamp set "Just Believe", Real Red CS and ribbon, pearls, markers - all from S. Up! I really like the way this turned out! Hope you do too!
Inside of the card -
Thumped the coral flowers with red!
I put together a basket of cards to give away at the Farmer's Market .... a friend was here the other day and she pulled a name for me - I will deliver these to the winner next week.
May today be a full one for you! Filled with love, and peace, and much JOY!
Blessings!

Beading!
Well! It is evening now! What a day this has been... very full! lots of company; cooking; making biscuits to go with supper; and BEADING! Didn't get a card made today but spent some time with the beads!
A friend dropped in to have me make a necklace and bracelet set for her grand-niece who is 6 months old! The necklace measured approximately 10 inches and the bracelet about 4&1/2 inches... pearls and light pink crystals... so much prettier in real life! :)
I made a couple rings ... haven't perfected this yet but will do so in days to come! These are such fun to do - so quick! Instant gratification!
I hope you had a joy-filled day!
